Hi, I have 2002 115 four stroke and I noticed my alternator is not putting out any voltage. I did some checking around and I pulled the connector off the engine control unit and I noticed a little corrosion and two prongs wore broke off. Obviously this "a" problem, but is it "the" problem I was looking for? I'm assuming the hole unit will need to be replaced and cannot be fixed. Not looking foward to paying $700. Any advice would be apreciated.
