yamaha controls

Will a yamaha control with a 10 pin connector work with a f9.9elrd? My motor has a 7 pin connector but was wondering if there was an adapter.

Also a freind of mine has a set of morse flush mount controls that were hooked up to a mercury. These controls dont have a key switch or kill switch. I was told that morse are universal. If so is it possible to buy a key switch and wiring harness that would work with my f9.9elrd?

The 10 pin is for tilt & trim motors. 703-8258A-00-00 is the 7 to 10 pin adapter harness
