'97 Pro V 150

Will a lower unit off a '98 or '99 Vmax 150 mount up to a '97 pro v 150? I was told that these motors were almost identical between these years. If so, will an early TRP lower unit bolt up?

97,98 and 99 lower units are the same. The TRP lower unit would work but you would also have the buy both props and prop nuts and washers.

plus the powerhead on a trp 150 creates 175 hp. it takes more since your spinning 2 props.
