abnormal idle F100AET

Engine overheat,rebuild and installed new short block,strip carbs right down and clean.However someone messed with the adjustment screw on carbs. #1,#2 & #3.The engine started up fine,when pushed in gear it keeps cutting off and when reved while in neutral it stutters and cough.

Any possible will be appreciated.

You do need to sycn carbs as per service manual on a new short block, need to make sure it's set properly to keep from damaging new short block. You will need a inductive tach to set carb adjustment and set of vacumn gauges to adjust carb sycn.
