Hi everyone a few questions I am switching over to outboard, On my Yam 225 I can not find any listings for 225 ETXD I need to buy a service manual I also want to know If I can modify the trim system from lowering automaticaly I just bought a 22 Velocity with a 225 I sent the lower to Bobs and I am putting a 10" Hydraulic bracket on it, any suggestions are listen too thanks Chris

The trim system should hold motor at any trim angle while in trim range but not in tilt range. If you don't want it to trim all the way down you may be able to move the tilt stop bolts to a higher hole. -
thanks for answering me I did try looking for parts there they do not have my model motor listed and I know about the holes for moving the motor I bought a 10" Hydraulic bracket for the boat but the Yam has a automatic trim system that will not let you run with the motor to hi up I was looking to mod that system thanks ChrisComment

you can install wedges but then you cant trim completely down.Comment
