oil choices

What oil is best for 02' 200hp HPDI. Does it really matter if I use something other than Yamalube?

use yamalube
they have a tech bulletin that states other oils are not as good
it is the best oil out there right now

I use Amsoil HP synthetic in my VMax HPDI. Burns clean, no smoke, no fouled O2 sensor or plugs. Over 700 hours no burps...

I have been running Pennzoil synthetic blend in my 2000 OX66 150. It does smoke a little, but no other oil related issues.. other than the click (see my thread)
