What year is my motor ??

I am buying a used boat and it has on it a Yamaha 9.9.

Numbers on the tag are as follows :
682C-S

Ser : 094907

Mod : 9.9 MSHS

beings the last letter on your id tag is S, I would have to say it is a 1994. However I am not sure if you are speaking of the original manufactors tag.

Just ran your # through a yamaha web site. If they came off of the original id plate then it is a 1994.
