Digital Tach

Hi,

My multi-funtion Tach stopped working last summer. I have a 1999 boat. The part number for the gauge is 6Y5-83500-T2. Can I replace my gauge with the 6Y5-8350T-81-00? Will there be any difficulty connecting to the existing wiring? I notice that this gauge has an hour meter feature which my existing gauge does not. Will this feature work for me with the existing wiring?

Yes the 6Y5-8350T-81-00 gauge will connect up and all functions will work as long as you set the dip switch's in back of gauge correctly.
