water pump

After replacing water pump,I observed engine running on ear muffs.Peeing good and strong.I also noticed water coming from 2 little holes on lower unit just below cavitation plate on both sides of motor and from a hole in front of lower unit just above speedo.Is this normal?Did I just not notice this before or is something not sealed after being apart?Water flows from all the same holes on ears with engine running or with engine off on motor flush.Thanks

Yes that is normal, the small holes are drain holes to keep water from being trapped inside housing. Water exits engine through exhaust housing, so you will see water coming out all over lower unit.
