Just purchased a lightly used 2006 F60TLR with tiller steering. Need to convert to remote operation. Likely that remote control box will be Yamaha 703 side mount. Current steering is Teleflex through tilt tube (Nissan 50 hp two stroke). Will have to replace gauges (tach and trim) as well. Understand that Yamaha makes a remote conversion kit. What items/parts are neceessary to complete the conversion? Part numbers and/or links would be helpful. Thanks!

The F60 comes as an remote and has to be converted to tiller. If you have the parts removed to install tiller then no extra parts need but if not order:
1 65W-61350-00-00 Steering Arm
2 90116-10M28-00 Studs
1 65W-48511-00-00 Steering Hook
And 703-48207-17-10 703 control box, 2 remote control cables(MAR-CABLE-xx-SC).
If you want gauges order 6YR-W0035-E2-00 gauge kit. -
Thanks! Purchased motor with tiller assembly already installed so no remote parts available. Understand 703 remote control comes with 16 ft 10-pin harness which should simplify installation. Assume Digital Tachometer comes with wiring harness that should connect directly to 703 remote control harness. If not, is there an adapter harness available? Thanks again for your help.Comment

Yes the 703 does come with 16ft harness and the gauge kit does come with wire harness needed to install.Comment
