Prop too clean???

ProV 150...After fishing for a day my prop is alway as clean in the barrell as if it were still new. I have been told it should show signs of being sooty. I can wipe it with my finger and nothing comes off. No carbon, no exaust soot, nothing. Is this normal for a carburated motor? It seems to run fine and smokes when I start up.

at idle in the water do you see exhaust coming out of the prop??

Mine shows clean as well. I think you have the perfect balance of air/fuel/oil mixtures.

jb123, the water is not clear enough to tell if it is or not coming out at idle. But it does when I give it throttle.

Glen, I hope you are right about the perfect mixture. It seems to run great.
