FL225A with water in Oil

Just went to check my engine oil on my 2001 FL225 engine and the oil is a brownish color well over the full mark on the dipstick. Any ideas on where to start looking for the leak. Oil Pump? Compression checked out fine. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

Sorry, engine oil color was brownish/white, like it had saltwater in it.

how old is this engine? how many hours on it?

Engine has approx 1400 hrs on it.
