yamaha outboard 60 2004 tilt issues

I need to go fishing! My motor wont go turn right or left. yes it goes up and down. I tried to grease and no luck. its suck and i dont know what to do?

from non-lubrication,salt, corrosion, your cable end is probably stuck in the tilt tube. you will need to disassemble it all using a good penetrant and maybe heat to get the cable end out. if you are lucky, you may be able to break it loose, but STILL, disassemble , steel wool the end and use the best grease you can find to put it back together. after beating a few cables out, i will only deal with hydraulic.

your also gonna have to borrow or buy the tool to clean the steering tube out. there will be very hard grease in there when and if you get it out. a local dealership might let you borrow one if they have it.
