yamaha F225 fault codes

i run my boat for business and have put on 1300 hours in 14 months. Had a problem with engine light flashing twice and then nine times which means code 29 i now understand. I have two questions. First, how can i get a book or even program and hardware that will help me self diagnose problems. I don't want to have to wait for the limited number of busy mechanics here on the island.
Second question, where do i order an Intake Pressure Sensor? I am flying up to Jacksonville Florida next week. Thanks. eli

You can order it from here and they can ship it to you or you can pick one up in Jax on your visit up here. I'm not sure how the VAT tax is down there so it may be better to buy here and carry home yourself.

You might look at buying the Yamaha Diagnostic System kit for yourself if you're going to do your own maintenance. Plug it into a laptop and let the motor's ECU talk to you. It works with the big 4-strokes and the HPDI motors. Usually runs $200-$250.
