1989 twin 200 one excessive oil use

I have twin 1989 200, one runs fine,while the other rpms vary 1000 excessive oil use and smokes. I would appreciate any help.

there are actually several things this could be. one could be busted fuel pump diaphram. another is the check valves in the oil injection lines. a quick check for this is to remove the carb cover and tilt the motor all the way up. wait a few minutes and see if you see oil coming out the carb throats. if you do, the replace the check valves. it is a cheap fix and you should do all 4 togerther.

also, check your linkage adjustment and there is a seal between the oil pump and block. is the #6 spark plug fouling alot? if so, it could be the seal.
