Initial trouble...when trim and tilt became wet it wouldn't work in any direction, up or down. I replaced seals,and brushes on motor. Power trim and tilt worked while out of water and for a little while when it was launched again for the first time. Now the power trim and tilt will only work when lifting the motor. When I try to lower the motor, I hear the swith clicking, but the motor for the hydraulic pump doesn't work.

Monitor the voltage on the down relay contact that has a wire going back to the t/t motor.
On my 2000 C115, the relay wires to the motor are blue and green.
Engage the t/t switch to the down position. 12 volts should appear on the contact. If so, then wiring to the motor is bad, or bad motor, or just corroded terminals.
If 12 volts is not present with switch engaged, then relay or wiring to relay is bad.
