O2 sensor

Is there another name for the O2 sensor ie ECU module or mass air flow sensor? Is there anyway to check an O2 sensor if it has been removed from the motor?

what are your symtoms, usually you will not be able to reach full rpms, say a drop up to about 1k rpms.
