water line on back of 93 yamaha 200

sorry if this is not supposed to be posted here but we just got our first boat and dont know much of anything with outboards...we have a pin hole leak in a line that looks like aquarium tubing, it is squirts hot water so i was thinking this may run to the temp. guage since i see the line running forward of the battery box. i was wondering if there is a name for this line so i can try to find the replacement or if there is an easy way to fix it.

Pat,
If it is squirting hot water, then it must be the tubing to your water pressure gauge.
It could be the tubing to your speedometer, but it would not be carrying "hot" water.

Is your water pressure gauge a Yamaha gauge? If it is then you will need a Yamaha tubing kit because it's metric (p/n 688-83667-00-00). If it is just a Teleflex or some other brand gauge you can use 1/4" tubing from Home Cheapo to replace it, or a compression fitting to repair it. Where is the pin hole?
