  • Vibration control of Yamaha T8

Is their any product on the market that will eliminate vibration from being transmitted from the motor to the transom. A rubber pad is not what I am looking for. I need a fix that can be designed into the boats transom, I am having built. It will be of aluminium construction. Any help would be appreciated.

pardon my non-knowledge of the smaller motors but does yours actaully vibrate that much to eminate to your boat? for ex maybe a bent prop or shaft.

I have owned diffrent Yamaha 4 stroke kickers and have run kickers in many other boats and about 90% of them had vibration (Between 1000 RPM to 1400 RPM) that would be transfered to the rod holders, side trays and gunnels( Yes, vibration while *****ing drivers me crazy). With the boat that I am having built, being made of aluminium, I would like to incorperate some sort of vibration control into the design. Almost all my fishing involves *****ing with a small motor and sometimes even a 48V electric is not enough power, so I must use a gas engine at times. I am not bashing Yamaha because all small 4 strokes have some vibration to a degree; at least the ones I have operated. I am only looking for solutions that can be used for any brand of small outboard four strokes.
