have done everything to fix
replaced gaskets checked reed valves cleaned everything new plugs good even compression fuel pumps water pumps racors yamaha tech adjusted throttle sensors now it runs much better but still runs rough from 1300 to 1600 rpm and maxes out at 4200 rpm????? also stalls at idle or just in gear but only inmtermittently.the STBD engine runs great no problems same fuel??? any ideas thx Billy

Buy new engine.

What I meant to say is to try ring free first. then try changing fuel filters and finally the water separators last.

Could be carbs clogged with gum/varnish.
I would try a shock treatment with SeaFoam or RingFree first - sometimes this works to not only de-carbonize motor but also clean fuel system.
If that doesn't work, try to pull all the jets you can get to and squirt some Berryman's Chemtool into the orifices.
If that doesn't work, then time for carb teardown, cleaning, and kit install.
