Yamaha 25 hp 1989

Hello I have come across a yamaha 25 hp 1989 in think it is.
and now I thought to retrofit a starter engine.

It looks like there are already braces and I have a gear ring.
so i need an item number etc so i can order the right start engine as well as an exact identification of the model of the year on my engine.

The 25NMO model was not offered here in the USA.

Your 25NMO should be more or less the equivalent of a 1989 USA model 25SF. Two cylinders with no electric starter capability.

A 1989 USA model 25ESF came with an electric starter. You can go to the Yamaha USA website and open the parts catalogs for a 25SF model and a 25ESF model. Compare the two models to determine the differences. More than just the starter motor will be needed I think.
