70 Block Identification

I just bought an old 70hp block to build a motor for my aquacat with a short shaft and some 90 carbs and a gear box from a 50 or 55. Im trying to figure out what year it is and the only markings are on this I guess what looks like a plug on the side of the motor that the fuel pump would be on.

Number reads 452599

I want to find the right parts for it!

any help would be great!

If that is a Yamaha model motor, and if 452599 is the serial number, 1985 would be my best guess.

Is your guess based on how low the serial number is? Im just very curious, I've been searching for hours about this and finally stumbled upon this website where I've read that you have helped multiple people figure out their motors! You seem to be the man!!
