  • Request for a Command Link 6YC Manual

    Where can I get a copy of the Command Link 6YC Installation or user's manual? I can't find a link to this? Thanks.

      I have the 6YC gauge connected to an F250XCA with command link plus, read the entire manual several times but can’t figure out how to display the gear position like the multi-color display? I.e. F N R indicator. It doesn’t seem to be an option on the 6YC or am I missing something?

        You are not missing anything.

        The 6YC display is intended for use with both digitally con*****ed motors and mechanically con*****ed motors. Given that mechanically con*****ed motors do not tell the motor was gear they are in the display does not have the capability of displaying this information.

        The colour display is referred to as Command Link Plus, which means that it is usable with only digitally con*****ed motors. It therefore can display the shift status.

          Thank you. So is there a reason to stay with command link plus connection or should I just swap to a command link connection? Basically trying to figure out what benefit do I get by staying with command link plus vs the regular command link. It’s just an extra cable for the command link plus.
