  • Slow Very Slow Draining Lower Unit

F300 - Ambient air temp here is 65 degrees today figured I would drain it since it's not going back in the water this season.

It's brutally slow. Anyone else experience this.

Poke some plastic/weedeater twine into drain hole to open up any obstruction?
Might be a blob of oily/greasy sludge in bottom.....or hopefully not a bearing part or a gear tooth!!!

Have a beer, let it drain. I guess you could attach a Mity Vac to vent hole and put just a little pressure behind it. But that seems a little harried...

Like the relaxing and having a cold one idea

Can't let my wife see me slacking off though. She got some painting chores lined up for me lol.

Painting. Bout like raking leaves. I'd rather change oil all day.

When I moved out of Virginia, all that sort of thing disappeared.

I had my shorts and tee shirt today. Smoked a nice Boston Butt for 11 hours....

                    Tough living...
