    Interesting but video could do with serious editing and that leg could do with a serious paint job. Looks like cavitation at high revs in forward and at low revs in reverse but the boat is stationary so not really a true test..........

      At least two strikes against efficiency when in reverse. Exhaust gasses are trying to push the boat forward. Those some gasses then impinge on the propeller blades and cause them to be much less efficient.

      Not to mention that the blades are designed primarily for forward thrust in the first place. Or aft thrust if one wants to think that way.
