Another multifunction tach question

I just picked up a 2017 Yamaha 150 with Yamaha 703 binicle I believe. I want to add the multifunction tach and keep getting different part numbers from different dealers. One dealer says the 2004 and older 6YR-W0035-E1-00 kit will wire right up. Then another sent me the Yamaha tach number for 2005 and later 6Y5-8350T-90-00 with the 2 fuse gauge harness 6Y5-83553-N0-00 and the trim and oil harness for 2005 and later 6Y5-83653-20-00 the 20 number can change for different lengths.
And I looked into the older kit and the trim and oil harness 68F-82553-70-00 that one dealer said would work which it is $130 and the 2005 and later one 6Y5-83653-20-00 is only $50. Not sure what the difference is.
Also the 2004 and older kit comes with a water proof cap in the kit.
Any help is appreciated I would like to get this set up soon if someone is expirenced in these Riggings.

Still confused

If you look what comes in the 2004 and earlier kit the individual part numbers are completely different. Page 3-13 is the 2004 and earlier kit. You are giving me the same information the dealers have. Do they both work even though my motor is a 2017?
The 2004 and earlier kit is around $450 where if I piece it together with the 2005 and above part numbers from the Yamaha book on page 2-3 then it is $325. I am ok paying a bit more but not sure which is correct and why the large price difference?
