I am installing a Lowrance EP-60R fuel flow sensor for my 200 TXRR. The hose fittings on the sensor are 3/8". My fuel lines are 5/16". The instructions say to install a length 3/8" hose at each end of the sensor, which would entail some adapters. Any issues with having all this stuff in the fuel line? Would it be better to run 3/8" all the way from the separator to the bulb and adapt it there?

Yamaha uses/specifies 8 mm for a 200 hp - which is practically the same as 5/16"
so you should be fine with adapters
I would try to find 5/16" x 3/8" hose barb adapters - if you can get your hands on two, -
then you'll need about 6" of 3/8" hose, and half a dozen appropriate clamps
