  • OX66 starting problem

    Good Day ALL.
I have a problem with my 2002 OX66.I have checked spark it is good I have ck Compression it is good I have fuel pressure at the fitting and at the rail, fuel is not coming out the regulator when cranking. The engine cranks over fine but no start. The only thing I can think of is that the injectors are not firing, what gives them their signal, and how can I check it? Anyone have any ideas?

Is the tach working while you are cranking.

      whuut???
how do you know fuel is not coming out of the regulator>
almost impossible to watch that one.
what is the fuel rail pressure in PSI ??
injectors are fired by the ECU based on pulser coil inputs.
      so is spark.

        OX66 starting problem

The reason I know fuel not coming out is I pulled of the hose and cranked over the motor. I have fuel pressure because I pushed in the valve when I was cranking the motor.

I went out and checked the motor again I put a spark checker on it and have spark I have comp, and fuel pressure 35psi I had noid light in the fuel injector plug and the light does not light up also the tech is working when I crank the motor.

Do all of the injectors have battery voltage when the key is turned to the ON position and when the motor is being cranked? Voltage is supplied to all six injectors by the red/yellow wire.

The CDI provides a ground to the injectors to open them.

If all of the spark plugs are doing their magic, if you have compression, if you have fuel pressure to the injectors but the injectors are all not firing I would check the voltage supply to the injectors. There is a single bullet connector across which voltage flows to all of the injectors. I would check there if there is no voltage to the injectors. I would next check for voltage at the main relay output terminal.
