There is, however, an interesting section of the YDS 1.33 Operation Manual

which seems to indicate that some 4-stroke ECMs can be "written to"

to create a "Record of Engine Oil Exchange" at the current hours

(the feature is not available on my 2005 F225)

Half hearted attempt by Yamaha to create a record. Seems like these things could be so much more sophisticated in this day and time.
