Maybe then I'm confused, instead the low oil level detected in reserve tank gives you the yellow visual alarm (middle bar flashing). But I swear I can recall audible alarm when reserve tank is low. Could be wrong, it happens time to time.

I will try again.
there is no factory installed water detect on an 04 2stroke carbed engine.
the remote oil tank has NO audible alarms associated with it.
there are NO self tests or beeping type alarms on a single engine carbed two stroke.
overtemp will set a ground on the gray wire in the trim harness to dash, SW3 engine oil tank will send a ground path via the green/red wire in the oil harness to the dash.
would be kinda easy to rig a diode or 2.

alarm questions like this are always due to cheap factory rigging.
