1998 40hp TLRW parts motor

Picked up a complete parts motor that appears to be siezed up....took off the head and noticed the upper and lower piston won't move when I work the flywheel ,but the middle piston moves a bit. Whats the best way to free up this rascal? I sprayed a bit of CORROSION BLOCK around the pistons and even put my impact gun on the flywheel bolt without results.
Just figured I would play around with it a while before parting it out and keeping some for my motor.If anyone needs a particular part let me know.

I had a small Honda motor (6.5 HP pressure washer engine) BADLY seized up...

I let it soak (piston/rings) with oil over several days. With a long breaker bar, I was eventually able to get it to move slightly (W/O pulling the head). Kept at it, back and forth, got it rotating fully.

Believe it or not, got it RUNNING! Ran great actually (after a carb clean).

Gave it to my Dad and it's still in service, 2300PSI pressure washer...


You should be able to loosen it up, but loose the impact gun.

Back and forth pressure on the crankshaft is the key..

If you want to access the exhaust ports, spray in there as well(direct to the rings, IF the pistons are low-accessible)

If no cylinder scoring, I'd bet you could get it running...

I would hit the top of pistons with a rubber mallet or use a 2x4 wood block to hit with a hammer.
a penetrating oil would be better than a corrosion preventive

Pulled off the reed valve intake and found connecting rod bearing failure on the lower cylinder...still gonna take it apart and split the case to see how bad though.Kinda fun to learn how this motor is put together and getting an education at the same time.Gonna start putting some parts on E-bay too!

Pop off the reed plate, the lower rods, rod caps, etc are right there..

With the balancer off, (where 2 stroke carbs/reeds would be):
(you can see two rod caps in this pic W/O rotating)

Sorry about that I was not thinking properly.
i guess I was thinking about the exhaust ports on the cylinders more than intake
