nope, everything has been normal so far
rain showed up again yesterday around 8pm but nothing steady, still in between the main bands so it is spotty.

looking at the Center point outage tracker lots of power outages in the area, but I have not lost power yet

Houston area is catching all kinds of flooding right now

Really bad on national TV.... Be safe and good luck..

Guess if you still have a roof, it's just flooding now YOUR potentially dealing with..

We've had a low sitting on top of us for three days, steady rain, not much wind. Expected to stay rainy thru next week, PIA but NOTHING like Texas, poor folks..

Yep. It's the same mess headed North.

              No hurricane for sure....

Saw the weather last night, off Georgia and the rain we have is ALL the same "Low". Seems you'll be getting this sloppy mess as it moves from Florida.

99 must be on some high ground! It's a mess down there....

had maybe 1" last night ,'
makes it 9.5" total in my rain gauge over the event so far.

lots of areas even 150 miles away have had 20+"
all of the rivers and creeks are flooding.
brother was forced to leave yesterday(mandatory evacuation where he lives next to San Benard River)

                  I am in a protected area(levee system)
Harvey needs to pick up some movement and get on out of here.

Brazos River,San Benard River, and Colorodo River are in record floods and it is still raining around here.

Watching the local weather here, the many days of mostly light to moderate rain, (couple hard squalls) my end of town got over 12" of rain!!

Didn't think it was that much, but over here, that rain water runs down into the canals / Gulf of Mexico.

The sun is just starting to peek out....Finally!

Keep it safe 99Yam and all that may be in Harvey's path...

BTW, National news showed a house somewhere in Texas, the guy inside, about 2.5" water in the house. He was CHASING and caught, by hand, what appeared to be a large cat fish in his kitchen!

He went noodling! I never felt comfortable sticking my hand underwater in tree roots and between rocks and holes in the banks.

I did it in the past out in the middle of a river under flat rocks.
never thought it would be good to reach into holes under the mud banks tho.
that guy would have to leave his door open to let the catfish into his house

I saw blue sky this afternoon.
emptied 15+" from my rain gauge all together
waiting for the rivers to peak to see how bad that is going to be now.
friend had a large oak tree drop on his house.
he is waiting on a rig to show up to hook up to and lift the pieces as the tree is cut it up

Looks like your area is finally out of the rain bands as all moves onto Louisiana.

Maybe they wont get hit to bad one hopes after all they went through with Katrina.
