And have a pack or two of plastic zip ties! Most of those cables can be "rolled" into a fairly tight circle, zip tied and set in it's place.

I 2nd this ^^^. Zip ties will be your best friend when cleaning up those wires. When I replaced my fuel tank a few months ago, the center console needed to be removed. While it flipped on its side I took time to organize all my wires. I think I used a pack of 100 zip ties . The hornet's nest of wires at the bottom of the console, 1st picture below. Ugh. But zip ties, 2nd picture. Ah ha.

Fiberglass

I actually didn't get any fiberglass splinters but working everything through the small hatch sometimes was a challenge. Had plenty of red marks on my arms afterwards...they went away overnight.
