I had 150hp four stroke yamahas and bought used 250hp yamahas (but with no gauges or harnesses). The seller told me it was plug and play as there is no difference between harnesses or gauges... Now my gauges just light up, but no data is shown. What can the problem be? I really want the gauges to work on the 250s as it did on the 150s.

could you elaborate on what gauges you have /what data isn't showing up? -
Would also be nice to know if these are four stroke F250's or two stroke 250's.
And what year models (both) are we talking about?
2004 and earlier versus 2005 and later makes a difference. Two stroke versus four stroke makes a difference.Comment
