It's only the two wires from the tt motor that get hooked in and a plug,the rest is pre wired.i checked the wiring compared to the other motor and every thing is right,but power to both terminals at the same time can't be right.

there are actually 8 terminal - but 2 are capped off so 6 used:
One for each motor lead, one hot for each side, one ground for each side
The 4 leads for the coils are potted right into the device
each relay half is effectively SPDT -
unenergized, both blue and green are connected to ground
when either coil is energized, the contact comes off ground and switches to hot
I suppose a "fault" in the control wiring - the t/t switches -
could result in both coils simultaneously being given power to actuate
but I'm "drawing a blank" as to how that "fault" could come about...
