Tired of climbing over transom to flush engines. I want to hook up a system like Evinrude has so that the engines can be flushed from inside the boat. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I haven't seen what Evinrude does -
but you could easily extend the existing "on board flush hose" -
replace the existing garden hose fitting with a double-barb hose connector/zip ties
and add on as much hose at you want
at the new end, put the original fitting back on,
and add a "water stop quick disconnect" (female)
that will keep it closed off so you don't lose cooling water while running
when you want to flush, just connect up your water supply hose with a male quick disconnect
I didn't extend mine - but I recently added a quick disconnect just to make flushing a bit easier

the only hurdle I can think of, is where to source "matching" tubing to make it look nice

Same idea but add a short piece of garden hose (you can get short hoses at HD, Lowes, or make your own) to your Yamaha flush female/hose end.
When not in use, simply put a female hose (like what's mounted already on the engine) end on the hose to plug it off (as if screwed back into the holder)..Scott
