  • Trim tab anode

When I purchased my boat, it did not have the trim tab anode on it. If anyone has seen my other thread, my lower unit was so badly corroded that they basically told me to scrap it.

So, I am going to replace the anode, but I am worried that my prop will hit it. I am running a Q3 15x15 on my 200 txrr. If it does hit how do I fix that? Cut a grove in it so that it won't hit anymore?

I also don't seem to recall it pulling to either side when up on a plane, so should i just center it and go or still offset it to the right by one notch?

Install new one, grind as needed to clear prop, then adjust angle as required to counteract prop torque pull....like normal.
