Well, was gone for a couple of weeks and decided to try out the yammie a few times before posting again. It finally 'acted' up while the mechanic was doing a test ride. A line from one of the carbs to one cylinder was blocked and so they rebuilt the carbs (pricey). Their theory was that the 'blockage' moved intermittently until it finally lodged firmly in the line and that the 'stuff' had probably been 'accumulating' over time. So far so good - this 130 starts, idles and runs strong. Thanks to all responders -
Record players....it was a whole thing with the needles and the cartridges. All the fuss about weighing the thing to determine the correct pressure, needle on vinyl. Like points, too much trouble...
