T9.9 exhaust from pee hole

Hi Folks

My outboard is a 2009 T9.9 four stroke.

Edit: It looks like it might be steam. I let the engine cool and restarted. The pee stream came back (weaker than normal) but the water is hot to the touch.

When was the last time the water pump was serviced?

On a Salt water blow boat and never flushed with fresh water?

my guess

If new pump and stat does not help you
plugged with salt and other minerals
need to open it up to clean out
