another fuel management gauge question

my gauge has a plug like a stereo plug with 4 pins. Is this the gps input and can I cut it to splice into it?

Really it plugs in to the digital speedometer, but you can use the output wire for your GPS if you want to. Or use the output wire from your GPS to the white wire on the FMS if you want the FMS to display MPG into. The plug is the same as a S-Video plug, and you can get adapters (female to female ?) from Radio Crack if you need to.

My gauge doesnt have a white wire, which is why I am asking. I have the 6 plug in wires (yellow,red etc.) the sensor plug and the stereo type plug thanks
