Yamaha F250 High Idle Help ........

Right of the bat I see 2 TPS codes at 1659 hours, which happens to be the same hours on the engine, might start there.

I thought that a 2006 Yamaha F250 didn't have a TPS sensor?

the F250 has an APS and two TPS's.

the TPS is part of the throttle body assy. parts are not sold seperatly.

Well an update.....

Purchased a used throttle body assembly from eBay that matches mine. I replaced the top portion of the assembly which is held on by 4 bolts and that has the 2 electrical connections on it. Figured that was the problem. Well it wasn’t, still has a 300 rpm higher idle than the other 2 motors.

Is there any reason to replace the entire throttle body assembly?

I would go to the bank.
get $500 in quarters.
toss a gallon bucket of quarters at it every 30 min until the issues clears.

or grab a multimeter and the SM and find the issue.

typically if the ECU is not happy with an input it sets a higher than normal idle speed. could it be a sensor suffering an IN RANGE failure?

it typically is an easy fix. somewhere somehow the motor has enough air and ign timing to idle higher than normal.
yep it is about that simple.
it is also a sign that the ECU is not happy with a sensor input.

What sensors should I be looking at?

first off did you clear the TPS codes?
then you have to look at the screen at key on engine off.
then start the engine and allow it to warm up a bit and then have a look at the numbers.

and posting screen shots of those things rod is saying would allow others to see it all instead of you being asked about a lot of things
