Noise finnaly found, engine stall forever

After a day on the water analysing the noise, tysted special oil addition, spedding over 60mph, 5500 rpm max, we went out the water. Before we could run the boat on the trailer it stalled with a terrible metal noise. At home took of the Coweling....... The Flywheel was lose. some furhet inspection learned the crankshaft was broken. end of story (unless somby got one 2nd hand avaliabe).

Disassambeld the complete engine and found a connection rod with to much space 0,6mm and even more.....

      Anyone soare oarts?

My guess is "the lower unit"
                dang this if fun
                guessing what people type

                where was the slack at,
                crank end or piston

seems the wooden dowel should have worked finding the looseness of the rod, not the flywheel

Wonder if flywheel was "loose" only because crank snapped? Something jammed it.

Be interesting to see all the bits and pieces.
