hard starting

I have a 1999 ( I think ) Yamaha 115 hp super clean low hrs 50 ish. lot of times it just wont start initially. wet plugs with little to no throttle or choking. once it does start it continues to start great for rest of day. also it has a flat spot in acceleration about 1/3 throttle then pulls right out of it. any help would b great

what is your starting procedure?
motors with chokes need to be choked for cold start and advance the throttle a little to give some air too

very little throttle, it floods easy. plugs look like oil fouled. I put in one step hotter plug

if it floods easy I would think it needs more air

I would also use the plugs Yamaha engineers recommend for that motor
