Appreciate your help.....I'm not familiar with the LU. That's why I took it to the marina for repair. The tech says to install with a vice grip to hold in place because just a slight touch it would go into forward. He gave me instructions thinking that it would bounce out with little motion and that "something must be wrong inside of unit." Use the vice grip to hold when installing LU".....
ok, not really alot of space to hold ss when pushing LU into position. I then remember reading somewhere that another member had a similar problem and found out that the ss was 180 out.I did the same and wahlah!!!!Live and learn I guess!!! Thanks again!
