One can go to the Yamaha parts catalog and first open up a book for an SX150TXR model. Then open up the book for an SX200TXR model. For the same year. Compare all of the parts used in one model to the same parts used in the other model. If the only difference is the CDI/ECU then that is all that it takes.
When other part differences are noted they may or may not have a bearing on the production of horse power. For instance, an SX150TXRC uses a different gear case than does the SX200TXRC. Does that affect HP? Everyone gets to guess for themselves.

A Z150TXRZ uses a different reed valve assembly than does a Z200TXRZ. How well a Z200 ECU will work with a Z150 reed valve assembly is to be determined.
I would guess that the Z150 reed valve assembly does not flow the amount of air that a Z200 assembly does. In which case the motor may be operating in an overly rich fuel/air condition most/all of the time.
