    Are you being deplorable? Again?

Are you of Russian ancestry? Did you conspire to cause her to lose the election?

The lost election that cannot be put in the rear view mirror?

She was groomed all of her life for her appointment. Only to have it stolen at the last moment. Oh, the inhumanity of it all!

You got four choices. A 25% chance of guessing the correct model. Which in the case of the oil seal housing won't even matter.

my thoughts are that when the shaft came out of the crank it was tilted too far before coming all the way out of the housing cracking it

Do you have any pic's with that cup (parts type diagram)?

You can answer his question about the sealer, I'd be guessing.

          .
Look at item 14 in each of the crank piston illustrations. If you click on the last linked item it will take you to the crank piston illustration wherein item 14 is shown.

I am sure he just called the housing a cup because it hold the seals.(it is in a cup form)

the oring sits on the outside of that housing and seal housing slides into the case.
he asked about sealer where that housing and oring sit in the case.
my manual for my C40 shows to use gasket maker on it

@ 99yam40 => "my thoughts are that when the shaft came out of the crank it was tilted too far before coming all the way out of the housing cracking it"

I've cracked it while I put a steel rod into the shaft to get the oil seal housing out of the powerhead.
The oil seal housing is made from aluminium so it isn't strong.

@ TownsendsFJR1300 => "Makes sense but your leaning on that pretty darn hard. With the mounting bolt part for that piece partially broke, someone was heavy with the hammer getting it loose...
You can see the impact marks on the securing "arm" apparently from the initial getting it loose from the block"

You are right, the oil seal housing was stuck.
I had to smash it hard with a rod/hammer to get any movement in it.
There was no other way to get it out gently.
