Greetings.
I bought a 1995 Yamaha 2 stroke motor with a missing Identification tag.
I have a clean title with the Serial Number listed on the title.
Is there any way to determine the MODEL NUMBER of this motor using the year and serial number only?

why?
they were all basically the same for the US market and only made for a few years.
major difference is the C model was not oil injected.

Yes. If you have the complete primary ID number, or just the serial number portion, we can get to the model.

What numbers/letters do you have?

You say the serial numbers are on a title. Do those numbers agree with the numbers that are on the alternate serial number label, which should be on the side of the block. Usually in the vicinity of the starter motor.

And directly below that there is 04
