Hello everybody I just purchased a Macgregor 26x It came with a 2001 T50 I have been adjusting the carbs trying to synchronize them. I purchase a Yamaha service manual. started with the linkage bar I measured and adjusted to the manual specs, I then adjusted with wide open the gap where the throttle stop is at less than .5 mil. Now i go to adjust the accelerator pump and the dash pot screw suppose to throttle it up to the accelerator pump contact point and right at contact is suppose to be 2700 rpm I have it adjusted all the way in and only get up to 1200rpm I cannot adjust anymore and cannot reach 2700 rpm unless it hits the accelerator pump. I am doing everything the manual is saying I am having a tough time figuring this out. It runs and idles, but I need to get through this step in order to synchronize the carbs. or is there a number of turns I should adjust the the dash pot screw to the accelerator pump any advice would be appreciated.
