got power in boat from battery, fully charged. terminals are clean tite and spotless. a few times before whats wrong now happened,i had to turn the key to the start position a few times in order for the starter to engage and to crank up motor. kinda like a delayed reaction. starter spun up like normal, good rpms to engage flywheel. running lights, trim and tilt all work. now.. turn key to start motor nothing happens. the gauges don't move,no clicking sound nothing. checked fuse on starter, its good. the elec. choke works when they key is in the start position only. {push in key}. is their any other fuse to check. if so; and if its good, whats my next step. I have a test light. what do I test and where? where can I find wiring diagram to trouble shoot. I need help and guidance. thanks.

Make sure the gear lever is in neutral, and the neutral switch is correctly set, a kind of quick test is to "jiggle" the lever back and forth a bit while holding the key in the start position.

I believe it is my key switch because when I went to Crank It.the key switch turned and spun and almost did a complete circle.which it should not have done

Perhaps tighten the switch back down?
