Can also honestly say , I have never seen an improvement after this procedure.
I really do not care if you buy it or not, it works sometimes if what is restricting the jet can be sucked thru. done it on autos, outboards , and small motors.
even saved a fishing trip on my C40 Yamaha a couple of years ago.
I will not run a motor much at all if missing on a cylinder.
But with a quick pull of the silencer and putting my hand over the individual carbs one at a time it cleared up and ran well. no need to load back up and drive 40miles back home to get it running on all 3 again
brother shoved a rod out of a block on a 65hp many years ago because of the lower carb main jet plugging.

    OP
Hope your are good to go for awhile,
but if not clean the others

I'll give it a try after I drain the old gas and change the filter.
I hope for the best and will report back on my test run!

Good luck, sounds like your test went good.

(Did you test with fuel from another source?)

And as you already have the RingFree, IMO, put a normal to heavy amount to the new fuel to help clean out any other varnish, etc..

Oh, catch what comes out of the filter and see what, if any crap made it to the under cowl filter, transom filter..
